AUTOPHONIX (composer) is the primary alias of Brooklyn based producer, performance artist and DJ, Ryan Natsis. Their work as an electronic artist is rooted in their identity as a DIY queer experimentalist and is influenced by sound art, punk aesthetics, and surrealism. The sonic witchcraft they create often utilizes distorted synthesizers and elements of sound design to accompany documentaries, short films, live art shows, and nightlife events while utilizing sound as a medium in which introspection and manifestation can take place.
