Summer, heat, car washing, loud music and two hotties. Fem queer Sasa is bored and sweaty in the middle of the summer with this heatwave while doing nothing at her house, in a village outside Lamia, Greece. Almost every day she sees Alexis across the street, a trans masc cutie doing errands and working with cars occasionally for pocket money. One evening, and while the heat is unbearable, Sasa decides to put on her shortest outfit and with a speaker on one hand and a mop bucket on the other she heads towards Alexis’ house, to wash the car that he’s been working on. Alexis finds himself with his back on the hood of the car and Sasa takes action…

Greece
Sonia Patrinou is a social scientist with an academic background in Gender Studies and pornography. Chulicha (2025) is her directorial debut.
Pornography holds a special place in her heart. Although she was familiar with the genre from a young age, it wasn’t until she turned 19 that she visited Gagarin 205 in Athens, with a friend to attend a selection of films first screened at the Porn Film Festival Berlin. It was the very first time she encountered queer porn and live erotic performances on stage. That night, she discovered filmmakers like Émilie Jouvet — and something clicked.
Her MA thesis focused on pornography as a potentially healing process for individuals with a history of sexual violence. She interned at Blue Artichoke Films for Jennifer Lyon Bell, and became part of the Porn Film Festival Berlin 2021 team, right after the COVID lockdown. She has volunteered, organised, and moderated two panel discussions on pornography for Satyrs and Maenads: the Athens Porn Film Festival — and finally, in 2025 she wrote, directed and produced Chulicha.
